It's nice be back in my blog... I haven't been able to post in my blog because my videocard broke down. At first, I thought that it was my monitor which was broken.. Luckily, my brother hooked my monitor to the motherboard and guess what.. it worked.. Luckily, I didn't buy a new monitor... with the global crisis, I reallyyyyy don't want to have unnecessary expenses...
Anyway, wish I could give you a run down on Day 16-23.. but I was to amused when my birthday... Yup.. I'm now 27 years old... huh... My birthday is really a big deal for me... Usually I have this 30 day count down before my birthday.. But I was too busy that I only end up having a 7 day countdown.... What excite me the most is that I own that particular day... My own special day....

Day 15
Still have a bad cough. It's really hard to maintain my breath. I don't want to drink any medicine. I'm trying to be all natural. But it's taking a lot of time. Usually I just take an antibiotic but I'm trying not to rely on medicine. I think I need more water. Hope I can keep up with the plan tomorrow.

Day 13
now I'm on day 13 of the walk to run program....
I was really upset when this blog account was suspended... I missed almost a week of posting... Honestly, I really missed posting about my runs...
the 3 minute run was quite difficult.... about the 2nd minute I keep looking on the timer and saying to myself how come 1 minute seems so long... so i just kept thinking, how does people run for an hour... yikes, my 3 minute seems pathetic... So i just imagined myself running doing 30 minute run... and that the 3 mins should be just a walk in the park, at least figuratively.
by the way i got sick this week, but still sticked with my program.. I still have a cough and feeling lethargic most days...But every time I finish running, I feel better. I feel energized. So it was good decision for me to continue with the plan even when I'm sick.

SPAMMING problem
I'm glad that the spamming issue is over. I wasn't able to post due to spamming issues on my blog. Anyway, I applied for a review and the good news is they found out that I'm a real person.
and the blogging continues....

Day 8
The 2nd week starts. I'm not really feeling that good. My back hurts. I bought 2 rims of bond paper and I might have lifted it wrong. So I had to remind myself that I need to finish this plan. And I'm still on the early part of the plan so quiting it is really nonsense. You just have to face that you will not wake every morning and be excited to run. Some days, you just have to run and don't care whether you're in the mood or not. Like brushing your teeth. Regardless you are in the mood for brushing or not, you still brush your teeth everyday.

Day 7
YES!!!! Rest day!!!
today is just a day for resting.
Most new runners often got this wrong. Rest is an essential part of your training or fitness schedule. Your body needs to recover from the workouts you've been doing.
More is definitely not better when it comes to running. You should be able to take care of your body and not over train it. Over training it will only end up in fatigue or you might even hurt yourself.

12 Week Walk/Run Program
The 12 week walk / run program is ideal for beginners.
On the safe side, be sure to talk to your doctor before starting any fitness plan.
This is a great tool which serves as a road map. I also use this as a motivational tool. I have print out of this plan then I stick a star for every workout schedule I finishes. Also, I have reward system that is based on this plan.
Hope you'll love it. By the way, the picture seems small. To view the program/plan properly, you can either RIGHT CLICK and open in new window or tab, or download it. It gives you a larger view of the plan that you can easily print.
